Please enjoy sharing this moment with me. Let all the political borders that keep us apart disintegrate so that we can experience the pure essence of humanity. Winter Sports. Just kidding… It’s, Peace.

This Olympic Torch sighting occurred during 2017, American Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend in Gwangju, South Korea. As an adult, I’ve never been a big fan of the holiday. It has been the anniversery a family member and a close friend for over 20 years. Every year I silently acknowledge their absence in my life and in the world, and try to be grateful to be alive.

I am grateful that there is a slight change in consciousness, these days. Acknowledging the genocide and resisting the continued oppression of Indian peoples is part of what Indeginous People’s Day is about. In the U.S. it occurs Oct 8th, but as we sit around our Thanksgiving Day tables, We must also remember the ancestors of all the peoples of the land that we now occupy.

I have a confession to make. While touring England in 1990, as a member of Peace Child International, I repeatedly sang a refrain: “Like Peace, Dude” to the tune of “Ode To Joy”, along with my fellow young American, Seth. My contribution to world Peace as a representative of the United States of America… “LIKE, PEACE, DUDE”!

I am cutting back on directly posting videoa and photos to facebook, for a variety of reasons. Please check back here and on the youtube channels, as I will be updating them, often.
